交通运输被誉为国民经济“大动脉”。当下的中国，正在加速向现代化高质量综合交通体系迈进。

Transportation is acclaimed as “arteries” of national economy. China today is moving on toward a modern, high-quality and comprehensive transportation system at a faster rate.

十年来，我国建成了举世瞩目的港珠澳大桥等一批世界级工程，基础设施总规模位居世界前列，综合交通网突破600万公里，“6轴7廊8通道”国家综合立体交通网主骨架空间格局基本形成。

Over the past decade, China has built a group of world-class projects such as Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge that has been recognized worldwide. The overall scale of infrastructure has been among the world’s highest and the comprehensive transportation network has passed 6 million kilometers mark. What’s more, “6 axes, 7 corridors and 8 channels” has basically constituted the backbone of China’s comprehensive and multilevel traffic network.

当前，以联网、补网、强链为重点，我国正加快建设国家综合立体交通网，启动了首批15个国家综合货运枢纽补链强链城市建设，京哈高速改扩建等一批重大工程开工建设。全国374项交通强国建设试点正在稳步推进，现代化基础设施等体系加快建设，安全、便捷、高效、绿色、经济的综合交通体系正在加快形成。

At present, focusing on extending network and strengthening chains, China is speeding up the construction of a comprehensive and three-dimensional traffic network by launching the first 15 national comprehensive cargo hubs to complement and strengthen industrial chains for cities’ development and a rash of key projects such as reconstruction and extension of the Beijing-Harbin freeway. 374 pilots nationwide for building a country with a strong traffic network is being forged ahead, and modern infrastructure and other systems is being stepped up. Besides, more efforts are made to complete a comprehensive transportation system that is safe, convenient, efficient, green and economical.
