3月16日12时30分，伴随着汽笛长鸣，载满电子产品、日用百货、轻工产品等货物的44912次列车从广铁集团广州货运中心江门北站缓缓驶出，开启了奔赴老挝万象的旅程。自此，粤港澳大湾区国际班列首发站点已增至6个。

March 16, 2022, 12:30 pm, with the blowing steam whistle，train 44912 with electronic products, daily necessities and light industrial products loaded set out from Jiangmen North Station of Guangzhou Freight Center of Guangzhou Railway Group to Vientiane, Laos. Since then, the number of first sites for international trains in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has increased to 6.

据了解，这趟货运列车通过云南磨憨口岸出境，全程约2,400公里，将抵达老挝首都万象。近年来，中国与东盟贸易往来密切，双方经贸合作蓬勃发展，对跨境运输需求逐步增大。为积极响应“一带一路”倡议，加快构建新发展格局，支撑粤港澳大湾区建设对接《区域全面经济伙伴关系协定》，广铁集团主动携手江门市政府抢抓中老班列开通契机，开设了一条全新的、可持续发展的货运路线。截至目前，广铁集团已开通发往德国杜伊斯堡等多个方向的国际班列运行线路，通达亚欧15个国家、20多个城市。

Reportedly, the train went outbound from Mohan Port, Yunnan Province. Total distance is about 2,400 kilometers to reach Vientiane, the capital of Laos. In recent years, with the close trade relations and cooperationbetweenChina and ASEAN, there is an increasing demand for cross-border transportation. In order to actively respond to the "Belt and Road" initiative, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, and support the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area to line up with the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, the Guangzhou Railway Group took the initiative to work together with the Jiangmen Municipal Government, and seized the opportunity of the opening of the China-Laos Liner to open a new, sustainable freight route. As of now, Guangzhou Railway Group has opened a number of international lines to Duisburg, Germany and other directions, reaching 15 countries and more than 20 cities in Asia and Europe.
