The Total Mileage of the Comprehensive Transportation Network Exceeds 6 Million Kilometers

2018年至2022年，我国完成交通固定资产投资超17万亿元，建成全球最大的高速铁路网、全球最大的高速公路网、世界级港口群。

From 2018 to 2022, China invested over 17 trillion of fixed assets in transportation and built the world’s largest high-speed railway and highway networks as well as world-class port groups.

截至2022年底，全国综合交通运输网络总里程超600万公里。全国铁路营业里程达15.5万公里，其中高铁4.2万公里；公路通车里程535万公里，其中高速公路17.7万公里；国内河航道通航里程12.8万公里；共有53个城市开通运营城市轨道交通，运营总里程9584公里；实现具备条件的乡镇和建制村全部通硬化路、通客车；邮政实现“乡乡设所、村村通邮”。

By the end of 2022, China’s total mileage of comprehensive transportation network exceeded 6 million kilometers. There had been 155,000 kilometers of operated railways with 42,000 kilometers of high-speed railways; 5.35 million kilometers of highways were opened to traffic, including 177,000 kilometers of expressways; 128,000 kilometers of domestic waterways were put into use; 53 cities had 9,584 kilometers urban rail transit in operation; towns and administrative villages meeting the requirements had access to bituminous roads and buses; and postal services were available to all villages and towns.  

今年将从加强现代化综合交通基础设施建设、提升运输服务质量、服务乡村振兴和区域协调发展、强化交通科技创新驱动发展、推动绿色低碳转型等方面着手，奋力加快建设交通强国。

To speeding up building a country strong in transportation network this year, we will focus on strengthening the construction of modern comprehensive transportation infrastructure, improving transportation services, boosting rural revitalization and coordinated regional development, advancing the innovation-driven development of transportation technologies, and promoting development to be greener with lower carbon emissions.
