8月5日至6日，国务院国资委党委书记郝鹏赴肯尼亚蒙内铁路运营公司调研。公司党委书记、董事长刘起涛陪同调研。
During August 5th and 6th, Hao Peng, Party secretary of SASAC of the State Council went Kenya to investigate the Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway, accompanied by Liu Qitao, Party secretary and president of CCCC.
郝鹏一行首先调研了蒙内铁路调度指挥中心。他在现场听取了蒙内铁路运营生产情况介绍，慰问了当班的中肯调度员工，并在内罗毕站乘坐N2次列车前往蒙巴萨。在旅途中，郝鹏听取了公司非洲市场开发情况和发展方向报告以及蒙内铁路项目海外党建工作情况汇报，重点了解了蒙内铁路建设及运营对肯尼亚政治、经济和民众带来的影响。郝鹏还与当地旅客、肯方乘务员进行了交谈，询问大家对蒙内铁路的看法和对客运服务的意见。
Hao Peng as well as his accompanies first investigated the Dispatching Command Center of Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway. There, he listened to the introduction to the operation and production of the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway, expressed his care to the staff on duty, and took the N2 train to Mombasa at Nairobi Station. During the trip, Hao Peng listened to the report on the development of the company's African market and the report on the overseas party construction work of the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway Project, and also mainly focused on the impact of the construction and operation of the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway on Kenya's politics, economy and people. Hao Peng also had a conversation with local passengers and Kenyan flight attendants and asked about their views on the Railway and their opinions on passenger services.
在蒙巴萨赖茨港站调研时，郝鹏在赖茨港货场参观了集装箱装卸作业。郝鹏对蒙内铁路运营工作给予了充分肯定。他指出，蒙内铁路项目以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指引，统筹提升铁路建设质量和铁路运营发展效益，实现了中肯双方的互惠双赢，是综合效益较好的海外代表性项目。
At the Mombasa Reitz port station survey, Hao Peng visited the container loading and unloading operations at the Ritz port yard. He fully affirmed the operation of the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway. He pointed out that the Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway, guided by Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, promotes the railway construction quality and railway operation development benefits, and achieves mutual benefit and win-win between China and Kenya. It is an overseas representative project with better comprehensive benefits.
