橙线地铁位于巴基斯坦第二大城市拉合尔，全长27公里，设有26座车站，由中企承建，于2020年10月正式开通运营。这是巴基斯坦第一条也是目前唯一一条地铁线。橙线地铁是中巴经济走廊的早期收获项目之一。

Orange Line Metro is located in Lahore, the second largest city in Pakistan, with a total length of 27 kilometers and 26 stations. 早上7点半，沙凡的父母将他和哥哥姐姐送到地铁站，之后三人一同乘地铁前往学校。沙凡12岁的哥哥哈南告诉记者，之前他经常担心因交通拥堵上学迟到，橙线地铁准时、快速，乘地铁既能保证他们每天按时到校，父母也不再需要将他们送到学校了。

Shafan's 12-year-old brother Hanan told reporters that he used to worry about being late for school due to traffic congestion. The Orange Line subway is punctual and fast. Taking the subway can ensure that they get to school on time every day, and parents no longer need to send them to school.

Vacart kayani, head of the Manawen Campus of Pakistan United School in Lahore, said.

Besides students, local office workers are increasingly keen to take the Orange Line subway. Mayhack Idris often travels to and from the north and south of Lahore due to her work needs. The Orange Line subway brings her convenience and saves her travel costs. "Since I started taking the Orange Line subway, the monthly transportation cost has been reduced from the previous 3,500 rupees (about 116 yuan) to 3,000 rupees (about 99 yuan yuan)." Idris said.

橙线地铁还吸引了许多游客前来“打卡”。地铁站务员阿扎姆·阿里告诉记者，拉合尔的许多风景名胜都在橙线地铁沿线，很多游客通过乘坐地铁游览这座历史名城。橙线地铁本身也成了当地的一处景点，一些外地游客慕名而来体验橙线地铁。

据北方国际巴基斯坦拉合尔橙线运维项目总经理李辰介绍，目前，橙线地铁已安全运营24个月，累计运送乘客超过5000万人次，列车准点率达到99.99%。经过中国专家指导和培训，橙线项目1300名当地员工已成为巴基斯坦第一批现代轨道交通的专业人才，其中3名巴籍员工被评选为“中巴经济走廊项目优秀巴方员工”。
