Through chapters of China’s Flowing Legacy: The Grand Canal such as Witness, Miracle, Cultural Legacy, Heritage, Transformation and Revival, the book delves into the origins, prosperity, decline, and rejuvenation of the Grand Canal from a journalistic perspective of the new media era, employing integrated media storytelling techniques. It spans multiple fields, including history, culture, technology, and ecology. From ancient transportation to modern hydraulic engineering, the Grand Canal still plays an irreplaceable role.

如今，这本书已被朱炳仁陈列于杭州的江南铜屋文献厅和朱炳仁大运河艺术馆内。他期望能够使更多人铭记大运河在中华民族历史中的深远影响与崇高地位。“我们在运河发展过程当中，也要做好‘保护’这篇文章。不仅是保护它的发展，而且要让这种‘发展’在更好地保护历史文化遗产的同时，创造更多文化，留给我们的后代。”

Today, this book has been displayed by Zhu Bingren in the Archives Hall of the Zhu Bingren Copper Sculpture Art Museum and the Zhu Bingren Grand Canal Art Museum in Hangzhou. He hopes to inspire more people to recognize the profound influence and esteemed status of the Grand Canal in Chinese history. “In the development of the Canal, we must also prioritize ‘preservation.’ It’s not just about safeguarding its progress but ensuring that such ‘progress’ better protects our historical and cultural heritage while creating new cultural legacies for future generations,” Zhu emphasized.
