太焦高铁山西段轨道线正式与河南省内线路连通

Shanxi Section of Taiyuan-Jiaozuo High-speed Railway Officially Connected with the Line in Henan Province

4月18日15时30分，随着太行隧道晋豫交界处最后一组长钢轨精准就位，由中铁十二局集团铺设的太焦高铁山西段轨道线正式与河南省内线路连通。

At 15:30 on April 18, with the last group of long rails accurately in place at the junction of Shanxi and Henan in Taihangshan Tunnel, the track line of Shanxi section of Taiyuan-Jiaozuo High-speed Railway laid by China Railway Twelfth Bureau Group was formally connected with the line in Henan Province.

太焦城际铁路起点为太原南站，终点为郑焦城际终点站焦作站，是国家“八纵八横”路网规划中呼（和浩特）南（宁）通道的重要组成部分。

The Taiyuan-Jiaozuo Intercity Railway starts from Taiyuan South Station and ends at Jiaozuo Station, the terminus of Zhengzhou-Jiaozuo Intercity Railway, which is an important part of the national “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” road network planning of Hohhot-South-Nanjing corridor.

线路全长358.8公里，建设工期54个月。全线于2016年10月开工，计划2020年12月建成。

The total length of the line is 358.8 kilometers, and the construction period is 54 months. The whole line started in October 2016, and is scheduled to be completed in December 2020.

疫情防控期间，建设者一手抓防疫工作，一手抓施工进度，在复工时间推迟24天的情况下，依旧实现省界铺轨节点比疫情前预定工期提前12天，跑出了“加速度”。线路开通后，从太原到焦作用时将由10小时缩短为1.5小时，而长治到太原也仅需1小时左右。

During the epidemic prevention and control period, the builders attached equal importance to both epidemic prevention work and the construction progress. In the case of the resumption of work delayed for 24 days, the provincial boundary track laying node was still realized 12 days ahead of the scheduled construction period before the epidemic, achieving the goal of “acceleration”. After the opening of the line, the time used from Taiyuan to Jiaozuo will be shortened from 10 hours to 1.5 hours, and Changzhi to Taiyuan only takes about 1 hour.
