The China-Europe railway express shines at the CIIE

11月4日，第三届中国国际进口博览会在上海开幕。国家主席习近平以视频方式发表主旨演讲时强调：“适应新形势新要求，我们提出构建以国内大循环为主体、国内国际双循环相互促进的新发展格局。”“中国将同相关国家高质量共建‘一带一路’，推动构建人类命运共同体。”作为畅通国内国际双循环的战略通道和“一带一路”建设的标志性成果，中国铁路打造的中欧班列、铁海联运等服务产品闪亮第三届进博会，并成为盛会上的热点话题。

On November 4, the third China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened in Shanghai. “Answering to the changing circumstances and new requirements, we have set out to foster a new development paradigm with domestic circulation as the mainstay and domestic and international circulations reinforcing each other." President Xi Jinping stressed in his keynote speech delivered by video. "China will work with partner countries to promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and build a community with a shared future for mankind." As a strategic channel for unblocked domestic and international circulation and a landmark of the Belt and Road construction, the China-Europe rail freight services, rail-sea combined transport and other services built by China railway have been shining and sparked conversations on the CIIE.

深秋时节，黄浦江畔依然热闹非凡，上海国家会展中心拥抱四海宾朋。“买全球、卖全球、惠全球”“让物流变得简单、让世界不再遥远”……在面积达3万平方米的服务贸易展区，30多家跨境电商服务参展商聚焦“一带一路”“中欧班列”，以视频、文字、图片等形式，重点展示物流服务智能化、数字化创新成果以及国际运输应急解决方案和数字化创新方案。

In late autumn, on both banks of the Huangpu River, there is plenty and prosperity, and the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center embraces friends from all over the world. "Buy from the world, sell to the world,benefit the world"make logistics more convenient, let the world become closer and closer"... In the service trade exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, more than 30 exhibitors of cross-border e-commerce services focused on "the Belt and Road" and "the China-Europe rail freight services" and displayed the intelligent and digital innovation achievements of logistics services and international transportation emergency solutions and digital innovations in the form of videos, texts and pictures.

近年来，中国国家铁路集团有限公司充分发挥亚欧大陆铁路网络优势，不断提升中欧班列服务质量和运行品质，实现中欧班列开行数量的快速增长。截至目前，中欧班列已通达欧洲21个国家、92个城市，成为国际物流陆路运输的优质品牌。

In recent years, China State Railway Group has made full use of the advantages of Asia-Europe continental railway network, continuously improved the quality of serviceand operation of China-Europe railway express, and realized the rapid growth of the number of china-Europe freight trains. Up to now, the China-Europe rail freight has reached 21 countries and 92 cities in Europe, making it a quality brand in international logistics road transportation.

新冠肺炎疫情发生以来，国铁集团发挥中欧班列战略通道作用，加强班列开行组织，全力承接空运、海运转移货源，优先运输国际合作防疫物资，实现中欧班列开行数量逆势增长，为稳外贸、抗疫情作出积极贡献。

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, China State Railway Group has played its role as a strategic channel for China-Europe railway express, strengthened the organization of freight trains, made every effort to transfer goods by air and sea, and gave priority to the transportation of epidemic prevention materials in international cooperation. As a result, the number of freight trains running between China and Europe has beenwitnessed continuous growthagainst global downtrend in the transportation industry, and made positive contributions to stabilizing foreign trade and combating the pandemic.

在丝路链数字物流服务平台展示厅前，一张巨幅彩色全球物流网布局图令人震撼。中欧班列从全球最大的小商品集散中心义乌出发，通达亚欧大陆49个国家和地区的物流线路清晰可见。近年来，依托“一带一路”建设和长三角一体化高质量发展，义乌外贸出口市场拓展到200多个国家和地区，跨境电商业务增长势头强劲，电商卖家账户超过27万个。

The huge color global logistics network layout map in front of the Silk Road    chain Digital Logistics Service platform showroom which shocks people a lot. The route of China-Europe Railway Express is clear, which started from Yiwu, the world's largest small commodity distribution center to 49 countries and regions in Mainland Asia and Europe. In recent years, relying on the construction of "Belt and Road" and the high quality development of Yangtze River Delta integration, Yiwu foreign trade export market has expanded to more than 200 countries and regions. Cross-border e-commerce is experiencing a strong growth, which  e-commerce seller accounts more than 270000.

在义乌长期做日用品出口生意的王华表示，几天前，他刚和欧洲客户签下外贸出口订单，中欧班列服务人员就主动上门帮他办好了出货手续。“疫情大流行使世界经济不稳定不确定因素增多，正是有了中欧班列，整个贸易才有序循环起来。现在，国内销售已回归正轨，跟往年相比，全年估计会有20％的增长。”王华说。据义乌市有关负责人介绍，之前，义乌发往欧洲的邮包只能海运或空运，增加了企业时间成本和经济成本。

Wang Hua, a commodity exporter in Yiwu, said service staff came to his home and handled delivery procedures just several days after he signed export orders with European customers. "COVID-19 pandemic impacted the stability of the global economy. However, China-Europe railway express normalized the global trade order. Now, domestic sales have return to normal, with an estimated 20% increase over the year." Wang Hua said. Relevant people in charge of export in Yiwu indicate that the commodity sent to Europe could only be shipped by sea or air, which increased the time and economic costs.
