New Journey on the International Railway
10月17日至10月19日，“沿中老铁路·看云南发展”网络名人行主题活动在中老铁路国内段成功举办。该活动由中央及云南网信部门工作人员、网络名人、媒体记者组成的考察团一行36人，深入中老铁路沿线，了解铁路建设如何助力地方经济发展、转型升级，感受丰富多彩的多民族文化，体悟各族同胞休戚与共、团结奋斗的精神，并结合所见所感，创作发布形式多样的网络内容，讲好中国式现代化进程中的云南故事。
From October 17th to 19th, the themed event, "Exploring Yunnan Province’s Development along the China-Laos Railway" online celebrity tour, was successfully held on the domestic section of the China-Laos Railway. The event consisted of a delegation of 36 people, including staff from the central and Yunnan Internet Information Departments, online celebrities, and media reporters. Traveling along the China-Laos Railway, the delegation learned about how railway construction had helped local economic development and transformation and upgrading. Besides, they experienced the rich and diverse multi-ethnic culture and the spirit of solidarity and struggle among ethnic compatriots. Based on their observations and experiences, they created and published various forms of online contents to tell the story of Yunnan in the process of Chinese modernization.
在中老铁路零公里标、元江特大桥、友谊隧道等地，考察团感受了中老铁路搭建中国开放发展新通道的强大动力；在中铁联集昆明中心站、磨憨铁路口岸，感受云南以高水平对外开放促进高质量发展的壮丽乐章；搭乘国际旅客列车，走访普洱站、西双版纳站，探寻新时代铁路践行“人民铁路为人民”宗旨服务百姓出行的生动实践。（节选自人民日报新媒体平台“人民号”）
At places like the Zero Kilometer Marker of China-Laos Railway, Yuanjiang Grand Bridge, and Friendship Tunnel, the delegation felt the strong momentum of the China-Laos Railway in building a new channel for China's opening up and development. At the China Railway Union Kunming Central Station and Mohan Railway Port, they experienced the magnificent movement of Yunnan to promote high-quality development through high-level opening up. By taking the international passenger train and visiting Pu'er Station and Xishuangbanna Station, they explored the vivid practice of the railway in the new era in serving people’ s travel needs under the purpose of "the people's railway serves the people" .
