Huang-Huang High Speed Railway Expected to Have a Test Run Next Month

据了解，黄（冈）黄（梅）高铁项目自武冈城际铁路黄冈东站引出，经黄州、浠水、蕲春、武穴、黄梅接入安庆至九江铁路，设计时速350公里/小时，全长125.4公里，投资170.4亿元。项目于2018年12月开工建设。

It is understood that the Huang (Gang) Huang (Mei) high-speed railway project leads from the Huanggang East Station of the Wugang Intercity Railway, and is connected to the Anqing-Jiujiang Railway via Huangzhou, Xishui, Qichun, Wuxue and Huangmei, with a design speed of 350 km/h, a total length of 125.4 km and an investment of 17.04 billion yuan. The project started construction in December, 2018.

黄黄高铁是我国“八纵八横”主通道京港（台）高速通道和京九高铁、武杭高铁的重要组成部分。开通后，武汉到九江将缩短至1小时、到安庆90分钟、到杭州仅需3小时,较以往分别压缩1个小时左右。

Huang Huang high-speed railway is an important part of the Beijing-Hong Kong (Taiwan) high-speed railway which is the main channel of “eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed railway network”, and the Beijing-Kowloon high-speed railway, Wu-Hang high-speed railway. After the opening, it will be shortened to 1 hour from Wuhan to Jiujiang, 90 minutes to Anqing, and only 3 hours to Hangzhou, which is about 1 hour shorter than before respectively.

1月下旬，该线路已启动联调联试。极目新闻记者获悉，下一步即将开始的是列车上线进行不载客运行试验。根据《黄冈日报》报道，按照计划安排，黄黄高铁拟在今年4月试运行，争取“五一”开通运营。

In late January, the line was launched for joint commissioning and testing. The reporter of Jimu News learned that the next step is to start the train running test without passengers.
